IMAS BRINGING BACK THE 70’S

The International Museum of Art & Science (IMAS) has some great plans in store for the museum’s most important annual fundraiser, Collage 2008, set for Saturday, October 11, 2008 at 6:30 p.m.  The theme this year is, “Mirror Ball: The Seventies,” which will be a flashback to the 1970’s.

The Auctioneer for the evening will be Tim Smith, accompanied by Brooke Daniels, Miss Texas USA, Houston.  Events for the evening will include a disco dance party, international cuisine, an open bar, and an auction featuring hunting trips, jewelry, parties and more. The popular “$10,000 Happening” will return, with a one in three hundred chance to win a $10,000 shopping spree. The $10,000 Happening Tickets will be located in the IMAS Discovery Pavilion under the famous dinosaur, which will be fashioned in the 70’s style as well.
